12. Product-Specific Details
BoardingKit
BoardingKit is a management platform for independent dog daycare and pet boarding operators. In addition to the general practices described above, the following applies specifically to BoardingKit:
Data collected through BoardingKit includes:
- Business operator data: Account information, subscription and billing records, and usage data for the operator running the software.
- End-user (pet owner) data: Operators use BoardingKit to store information about their customers, which may include pet owner names, contact information (phone, email, address), pet names and relevant pet information (breed, veterinarian, vaccination records), and appointment or reservation history.
Operator responsibility: BoardingKit operators are independent businesses that control the personal data of their own customers (pet owners). Arc Digital LLC acts as a data processor on behalf of the operator for this end-user data. Operators are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from their customers and for their own compliance with applicable privacy laws.
Data access: Arc Digital LLC personnel access end-user data only as needed to provide technical support, maintain system integrity, or comply with legal obligations.
Messaging and communications: BoardingKit may send automated SMS messages or emails to pet owners on behalf of the operator (e.g., appointment reminders). These communications are sent at the direction of and on behalf of the operator.
Data deletion: When an operator account is closed, associated business and end-user data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Third-Party Services Used by BoardingKit
BoardingKit integrates the following third-party services, each of which may receive personal data as necessary to provide their function. Each provider is contractually bound to protect data at a level consistent with this Privacy Policy:
- Stripe — payment processing (billing details, payment method information)
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (account data, pet owner data, reservation records, uploaded files)
- Twilio — SMS delivery (phone numbers, message content)
- Resend — email delivery (email addresses, message content)
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure (request logs, IP addresses)
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (device info, session data, general geographic location)
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your BoardingKit account and associated personal data through either of the following methods:
- In-app: Open BoardingKit and navigate to Account Settings → Delete Account.
- Email: Send a deletion request to support@arcdigitalllc.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Once a deletion request is received and verified, your account data and associated end-user data will be deleted or anonymized within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax or accounting records).
SMS Opt-Out and TCPA Compliance
Pet owners who receive automated SMS messages through BoardingKit may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Replying HELP will return support information. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Operators using BoardingKit are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from their customers (pet owners) prior to sending SMS communications, including compliance with the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any analogous laws in their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you by email or through an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect, except where changes are required by law or necessary to address security concerns, in which case they may take effect immediately. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
